“The second wine of the estate, and still impressive, the 2015 St Chinian 2eme Vin offers full-bodied aromas and flavors of black raspberries, incense and violets, as well as terrific density, loads of fruit and a layered, balanced profile on the palate. Consultant Claude Gros committed that St Chinian wasn’t easy in 2015 due to rain, but that he dropped crop early, and in this case, I think the results speak for themselves.”

A dark, rich and complex wine with aromas of multiple fruity expressions (black cherry, cherry with brandy, blaccurrant coulis, pepper), embellished with an elegant touch of violet and fresh scents of the garrigue. Notes of tobacco and vanilla accompany this in a perfectly balanced palate, ample and long, with silky, melting tannins and a superb liquorice finish. 2018-2024; duck breast.”

Mezura  (measure) is a concept used in Troubadour poetry to suggest dignity and self-restraint. The passions of youth (joven) are governed by mezura: respect for the complex rules of courtly society that elevated Fin ‘ Amor to the level of consummate art, sublimating desire.
